I am making christmas stockings c: and it gonna be a multilayered skirt. i'm intimidated cause i've never done it before but it shouldnt be too hard. i make skirts for myself all the time.
i just dont wanna make it too long xD

@pixiebuns: I've not made Christmas stockings in a few years. Most of my sewing now is just costume pieces for the Renaissance Festival. I got into knitting around May. I was bored. My husband claimed the first scarf I made and he has now claimed one of the first hats I've knitted. He would of claimed the first one, but it didn't fit him.

@Lithium: Yeah and they don't want you to be late getting to work either. The last time it snowed a lot here it took me over an hour to get to work and the trip normally takes about 20 minutes. Boss couldn't really fuss at me that day because I was still one of the first people to get to work. I left half an hour early to get there. I'm using a loom on the hats to make it look better. The scarves I am using knitting needles.

@pixiebuns: What do you have to do to make an Etsy account? People think my husband & I should have one to buy some of our stuff, but I haven't looked into making an account. He made fairy wings last year for the Renaissance Festival and people kept asking where they could get them and a price. He wants to perfect the wings more before he tries to sale any of them.
@taemins lover: it just takes practice <3
@damia flagg: it's really easy. the hardest part is thinking of your name and how you wanna brand yourself and whatnot.
but it's not that complicated. i also do a little bit of graphic design so i made my own business cards and images and such.
to list something for sale its 20 cents a listing which isnt terrible.
one of the best things to do is take good photos (lots of lighting and such)
and use a lot of tags and whatnot.

but etsy is really easy.
i've just kinda...learned as i go xD
