Finally can afford to replace my current tablet and I am super excited to replace it.
Current one just has countless road blocks with my art journey
so I'm very excited to be getting a better one so i can practice without a long list of road blocks.

Thanks to the stimmy we are able to afford it.
But I'm still going to wait until it goes on sale which may not be till summer.
But I'm excited none-the-less.

@moodyb: i looked it up on amazon, and it seems like a great tablet! i love the way it looks, very sleek and well-made. perhaps if i ever need to replace my own tablet, i could possibly get an xp pen brand tablet (though it'll be a while til that happens, i got mine three months ago).

@scarabee: ive watched countless reviews on it. it does so much more than it shows.

i need something with 8k levels of pen pressure.
current one has 2k and i cannot paint with ir unless i blur it entirely lol

so im excited when i can get it.

@moodyb: oh that must be annoying to have to blur every time you want to paint, so it's great that you're getting a tablet with 8k pen pressure! i never knew that the amount of pen pressure actually affects the way you draw digitally, perhaps because i both only used a mouse and managed to buy a tab with 8k pen pressure already. ^^;;

tbh i'm happy for you! getting a new tablet with better features sounds like an absolute relief. :D

@scarabee: yeah. at that point i just quit painting until i could get a better tablet
since blurring just makes it look very airbrushes and not painterly at all.

It can. for me it does anyways. tho my tablet model i currently have
can't really even draw without program built in stabilizers.
otherwise i wouldn't be able to draw either

When i bought my first tablet i thought it had 8k but amazon kinda lied to me about that lol.

definitely. i am curious about the portrait mode since the XP pen says it can be turned to be in portrait mode.
it'll just be great since the xp pen's pens look like they wont hurt
as my huion's pen is just plastic so i have a painful callus when i draw over an hour lol.

@moodyb: i get that, trying to control the blur is insanely hard and just makes it look... bleh :P. it can be useful in certain applications, but definitely not when you're trying to achieve a painterly style!

i might be misunderstanding what you wrote, but your tablet can't work without built in stabilizers? that's actually insane! is it because it's an older model, or something else?

and WOW thanks amazon for lying about your products to your buyers =_=. did you report the sellers about them lying about the product?

another thing: that's so cool that the xp pen tablet has portrait mode! i think this is the first time i've heard of a tablet that could do that, and i'm curious to hear that now that you mentioned it. their pens also do look comfortable to hold onto for long periods of time, as huion have plasticky pens that are somewhat uncomfortable to use for hours if you draw a ton in one sitting.

@scarabee: not sure if its the model or what. i had to use any program as long as it had a stabilizer and since my art is 90% lineart it was very noticeable.

nah i thought i goofed tbh lol
and it seemed everywhere said it had 8k when it didnt. it was weird.

xp pen just has do much good stuff about them. i can even adjust the lighting for the wheel. im just so excited to get it.

I have a big painting portrait I really want to finish but i can't really finish it until I get the new tablet.

they might have a sale on Easter week so i'll see if they do it then.
if not then i will buy it probably...in the summer sale if they have one.
Hoping they have a sale soon.
