Evan was getting more and more excited, before he forced himself to calm down.

"Well... her glasses glamour broke." he told him.

"And... uh... well, let's just say this problem lies with someone in the Glamour and Disguises department." he continued. "I hear rumours and such from... well, people that wouldn't lie." he shrugged.

"Point is, Agent Sharp is going to have to get rid of that person, but that'll leave the department cripplingly understaffed." he went in.

"YOU can work there!"

Blair was completely silent for a few seconds after Evan said his piece.

"If you think that'll work, set up an interview for me?" he suggested.

"Easier than me trying to. Not even sure he's listed it anywhere, nor do I have any idea where to find that kind of listing anyway."

"I'm pretty sure a net is cast out on some... hidden and obscure channels." Evan mumbled.

"But I'll approach Agent Sharp tomorrow morning." he told him. "See if... well, I can fast-track this a bit." he went on, before pausing and thinking about it, and then shaking his head.

"No. I won't." he said.

"If I want to try and get you this job, this needs to be done on your own merits, and NOT because you know ME." he reasoned.

"Can you give me a resume and such?" he asked.

"I'll take it to Sharp and we'll see what happens from there."

"Just print one out tomorrow. You know our printer died in the move." Blair commented.

"And you have a copy of it for when I need to print off a new copy." She then said.

"So ... yeah. Just do that. Should I do up a cover letter tonight though?"

"Ah, crap, right." Evan muttered. "Forgot that. We need to get a new one soon." he said.

"And yeah, I'll go into work early tomorrow and print one off." he told him.

"Also, a cover letter might be good as well." he continued. "Given the channel that you've learned this information from, adding that extra bit of professionalism certainly couldn't hurt." he reasoned.

"Not that learning about this from me should hurt your chances, but... well, better safe than sorry, I suppose." he added with a small shrug.

"As far as I know, they haven't found a suitable hire yet, and it seems like Agent Sharp is borderline desperate, so with your skills, and showing professionalism, hopefully you'll be the answer to his prayers."

"The only thing that I think MIGHT stand in the way, truly, is the fact that I'm completely untaught." He commented.

"All I know is from experimentation." he added. "So... not sure if that'll get me any brownie points or not."

"All we can do is wait and see." he said.

"I mean, references can help a lot, too." he told him.

"Testimonials to your quality. Like Jen, for example." he continued.

"Or, Sharp may have you do some kind of practical assessment, and judge you based on THAT." he suggested.

"Only way to find out is for us to submit that resume and cover letter, and see what happens."

Blair nodded.

"That is very true." He agreed before getting to his feet.

"I'm going to go work on that then." He added.

"I'll catch you later. I've got a cover letter to write." He paused a moment. "Is there anything that you can think of I should definitely add? Or omit?"

Evan paused and thought for a moment.

"...omit? No." he said. "No, I don't think there's anything you would need to omit, really." he commented.

"As for anything you should definitely add... that I'm not sure, either." he then admitted, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh!" he exclaimed.

"List specifically what sort of accessories you've made for glamours." he told him. "Or ones you've merely enchanted, in some cases." he went on.

"Give Agent Sharp a more specific idea of what you've already created."

Blair nodded.

"Yeah, I figured." He commented.

"I'm going to go do that, I'll see you in a bit." Was the last thing he said before heading off, up to their room where he had his laptop. Chances were he'd put on a soundtrack of some sort while he worked too.

Evan watched him go, and smiled a little.

"Good luck, sweetie." he said quietly.

Sure enough, the next day, Evan had handed in the cover letter and a copy of Blair's resume, and only a couple of days after that, Blair received a call from a number he didn't recognise, but it was from within the city. Besides, he'd hang up if it was spam or scam.

"Hello, am I speaking to a mister Blair Cunningham?" a female voice asked.

"You are." Blair responded.

"I'm calling on behalf of Agent Hal Sharp." the woman then said. "He would like for you to come in for an interview in regards to your resume and covering letter at your soonest convenience." she went on.

"When is the soonest you can be in for an interview?"

"The soonest? I'm good for... uhh... 20? Mintues. However long that it takes to drive down there." Blair answered after a moment or two.

"So anytime work s for me, really." He added.

"How about in an hour?" The woman asked.

"Can do. I'll be there." Blair answered

"Excellent." the woman responded.

"I'll let security know you're coming, just tell them who you are, and say you're here for an interview." she told him.

"Have a lovely day." she finished.

"You too." Blair responded, before they ended the call and he hung up.

And now he had to ready himself for the interview. He was giving himself a half-hour to be prepped and ready and out the door, just in case traffic was bad or something.

Blair was silent for a moment before heading off to get ready.

She showered, made sure the little bit of hair on his face was well maintained, along with made sure that the hair on his head was tied back and out of the way. After that, he got dressed, sighed as he realised that he didn't even know what style of clothing to wear for this kind of interview, before shaking his head and just going with his standard vest and whatnot.

".... well..." He muttered before heading out, climbing into his car and heading off toward the Unit.

When he arrived, he stepped into the entryway before looking around and seeing the entry into the building proper, along wit the guard. He stepped up, shifted the messenger bag he had and withdrew his wallet, before stepping up to the desk.

"Yo." He started. "Name's Blair Cunningham,and I'm here for an interview." He greeted as he set his ID on the desk for the guard to check for verification purposes.

The guard put down his paper, checked the ID, checked the clipboard he had, and then the small laptop off to the side, before looking at Blair momentarily, a serpentine tongue darting out from his mouth briefly.

"...checks out." he said.

"You need a guide to get you to Agent Sharp's office?" he asked.

"Or do you think you can make it there yourself?" he asked further, gesturing to a blue tile on the wall.

"Interactive map. You can use that if you think you can manage on your own."

"I should be good." Blair answered with a light chuckle as he put his ID back into his wallet, and the wallet into his bag.

"I'm better with navigation than my love is." He added as he made his way to the door. Once being let through, he headed off, making his way through the halls and up to the head office.

He made his way into the office, and took the seat that he was told to, to wait as the receptionist relayed that he was there.

About a minute after the receptionist had relayed that he was there, she beckoned him to enter. He did, and when he stepped through the door, he saw Agent Sharp sitting in his chair behind his desk, looking right at him through his tinted glasses.

"Welcome, mister Cunningham." he greeted him.

"Agent Sharp." he then introduced himself.

"Please, take a seat." he went on, gesturing to one of the chairs in front of the desk.

"Care for a drink or water or something?" he offered.

"And thank you for this." He added after a few seconds.

"Hopefully it ends up being worth your time. I am so terribly sorry if It ends up being a waste of your time."

Hal raised an eyebrow at the apology, as he reached into his miniature fridge and handed Blair a bottle of ice cold water.

"I'll be blunt." he said.

"You have none of the training or real education for a glamour specialist." he told him. "However, the references you gave, as well as the list of things you've already created, MORE than make up for it." he went on.

"I am a man that values practical skill over education." he then stated. "I realise that, with a lot of things, you cannot have the former without the latter, but it's taken on a case-by-case basis." he reasoned.

"So. I think I know JUST the way for you to prove as to whether or not you can be useful to the Glamour and Disguises department." he continued, before reaching into a drawer and pulling out a pair of glasses with a crack in one of the lens.

"These broke recently for one of my demonic agents." he said. "Do you think you can repair them, fix the glamour, and restore these to working, long-lasting order?" he asked.

This was a harsh test, to be sure, but this was what his department needed. And if Blair showed ANY aptitude for repairing them and making a glamour on them stick, he'd be hired.

Blair was silent before taking the glasses, looking them over.

"... what is the glamour for?" He asked, his voice curious, inquisitive.

"Although, I... don't have the mana to repair the glass myself." He added after a few seconds. "I just know how to use what is in the air to apply the glamours. I can't use it to repair the things. I know how to use most tools and such, in order to actually do that. However, I can't just do it."
