"Apparently he got into an altercation with a lycan." they responded.

"They exchanged words, and he let slip how he was glad he helped land the lycan's daughter in the hospital." he went on. "When then snowballed into a flurry of accusations, but he's being arrested for assaulting a lycan." he continued.

"And he'll be investigated on the cases related to it." he then said.

"So... yeah." he mumbled.

"Fun."

"Great." She muttered.

"With that, looks like I need to start looking for someone to fill his shoes."

"It does seem so." they responded.

"Suffice to say, it's been an... exciting... morning." he told her.

"But we'll help find a replacement for him, seeing as this incident is leaving a bad taste in a LOT of people's mouths." he went on.

"...want to know the worse part?" he asked.

"The lycan was Gerald Fynch." he said, the lycan in question being one of the liaisons between the Council and Triad.

"You do that." She told him.

"Or rather, collect resumes. I'd like to go over them myself." She added honestly.

"As I do with most hires."

"Of course." the man responded.

He then hurried off, as Justin was taken away while under heavy restraints, shooting a glare at Hollie as they forced him past her.

There was an awkward silence that hung in the air for a moment after he was removed, before people started to get back to work, milling about and muttering to themselves. They still had work to do.

Things still had to move forward.

And Gerald was NOT looking happy, as he brushed his shirt off.

"Hey... you ok?" She asked, concern in her voice.

"I realise that you're unimpressed, but I mean beyond that."

Gerald growled a little at first, but then cleared his throat.

"I am unhurt, save for a few bruises." he responded.

"However, after this incident, I'm sure you know what's going to need to happen." he told her.

"Also, Edward has to go as well." he then said.

When she looked confused, he sighed.

"He actively tried to help Justin, making it a 2-on-1 situation." he said. "Granted, what he ended up doing did... nothing, admittedly. However, it's enough that the Triad is going to want his removal as well." he continued.

"...we both know this."

"I completely understand, and agree." She assured him.

"Just make sure that someone from the Triad contacts me when they wish to speak about this. And Gerald, I am so sorry this happened. I only just realised that he ... may be a big enough problem to be removed from here. Shame it's with such a show though."

Gerald shook his head.

"Sometimes it takes explosive action to move things forward." he told her.

"But I want the FULL weight of the justice system brought down on Justin." he said.

"I DEMAND that he be made to pay for his crimes against the Triad, and those that fall under it." he continued.

"...because we don't need a racist like himself in such a high position here."

Hollie just smirked lightly.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure of it." She assured him. There was a definite... cruelty to her voice.

"I will most certainly make sure of it. Those that have any position within the council gets a stricter punishment, solely because they set the example. It's part of the contract everyone signs." She added.

"So don't worry. He won't get off easily with this."

"Good." Gerald responded.

He then took a small breath, composed himself, and looked around.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do here." he told her, before excusing himself and making his way deeper into the Council.

At least Hollie wouldn't need to worry about the Triad breathing down her neck over this. Sydney was a very understanding individual, and Gerald didn't seem to be out for blood. Those two things would mean that the repercussions could be dealt with properly and legally, with less unrealistic demands from the Triad.

She would need to find replacement for Edward and Justin, which would be a pain, but she knew the gobs of paperwork would slow down some.

After Gerald was gone, Hollie just shook her head and made her way up to her office. Once there, she pulled her phone out of her pocket as she approached her desk.

What did you do. was all she sent to the one person who alluded to being able to do something regarding this situation. She just hoped he wouldn't play coy with her.

It didn't matter too much, but she was extremely curious at this point.

She was waiting for a response for close to a minute, before it chimed.

Found almost-conclusive proof. the response read.

And then let a rumour slip in the gossip line that Gerald knew about Justin's involvement. I knew it would go from there. the next one said.

Didn't find anything on Edward or Victor, though. the following admitted.

Edward will be taken care of soon enough. He was defending Justin, and considering what happened, both are toast. Hollie sent before setting her phone aside. She had work to do after all, and no idea how busy Hal was for the moment. It was odd that he was replying even, considering the hour.

Late night? She then asked.

I expected to be waiting til the afternoon to hear back. She added with a laugh. She thought he'd go home and get some sleep once she left.

Getting that ball rolling took a bit of time, and I'm helping to make sure Ty stays on the straight and narrow. he then told her.

"...now. I need to get this daycare made, make sure Angela's not overwhelmed, and see if Ty can really do this."

It took some time, and longer than he most likely would have prefered, but the daycare section was done, and people were happy. Sure enough, Angela made sure that both girls were in there, and it didn't take long before Hal made his way down there himself to check in on things. As he did so, he saw Angela talking with someone there, and saw Liv sitting with Lunet to the side, chatting. They seemed to be getting along famously, at least. He knew that Ty had been making it a point to try and see Lunet at least every couple of days, so that she grew to trust him more and the like. However, at first glance, he didn't see Ty there. It wasn't a huge issue, regardless.

When Angela noticed Hal waiting to talk with her, she finished her conversation and made her way over.

"Hey. This place is gorgeous." She commented as she approached.

"Now all yhou need to fluff out your daycare staff." She added with a laugh

"Yep, it IS looking good." he agreed. "Amazing what one can get done when one finally puts their foot down." he commented further, chuckling slightly, and then shaking his head.

"I'm going through applications for the daycare as well." he then said. "Hopefully it'll be fully staffed in the next couple of weeks." he assured her.

"Anyway, how's Ty been doing?" he asked.

"Haven't really talked to you or him in a few weeks."
