@addy: Dang! Yeah I know the area, my mom and I drive a lot, especially for doctor's appointments, and she's had a few up there. But it's crazy how small of a world it is! We've also driven through Waukegan. It's a cute place. XD

@Addy: haha, I'm in Rosemont and not actually Chicago, so I don't imagine it would be easy. I'm also out by Friday. x3
@slytherclaw: sadly it's a bigger pain to drive to Rosemont than Chicago proper, but I think that's O'Hare's fault. The roads there are absolutely bonkers. ;o; (The CTA + Uber will make it a lot easier to handle though haha)
@eliechan: Were you in O'Hare or Midway? I've been to both airports and O'Hare's food selection is pretty top notch.
@roseywitch: ooo I'll have to check it out. I know a few areas south of that (Deerfield, etc) must look beautiful once the lights go up. Wheeling, too, had some incredible Christmas lights!

@Addy: o'hare just for 2 hrs, so I grabbed a panini and a large bag of popcorn lol. I'd go back for that popcorn omg xD
@eliechan: next time I'm there I'll have to try it! I USUALLY fly out of Midland for trips and stuff but the only flight service that goes to my hometown area is through O'Hare, so there'll definitely be a next time ~

@addy: True on the income tax! I also guess Chicago's lower income tax evens out with its hiigh state and local sales tax, which sits at a delicious rate of 10.25% per transaction.
