Velvet stretched her arms to the sky as she let out a squeaky high pitched "iiiiii~"
I can't believe my art block lasted so long!
She threw herself on the dusty chair, looking at the pile of photographs she left behind.
What a mess. She thought to herself as she was reminded of what was abandoned.
The feeling of guilt took over as her intrusive thoughts flooded, but she couldn't let that happen. This is the reason she took the break in the first place.
Back to work it is. I can do it!
Velvet leaned over the desk, picking a pile to tackle. She has always tied her worth to her productivity which led to this burn out in the first place. For the first time she admitted defeat and decided to take a break. Sure, it lasted 2 years, but she's back. Ready for the next chapter.
