It took me forever to get to this point since I feel like I don't post enough throughout the day.

Anyone else like hoarding their volts/currency?

I flip flop between hoarding and spending all of it at once lol

I hoard and then suddenly I have enough for a common orb and BAM all of the volts are gone.

Or redecorate?

That's what I was originally doing but now that I'm starting to get a bit more comfortable and seeing what items I want, I've been in hoard mode lol.
I really want to get a common orb but my brain is like no you have to get to a certain amount to spend comfortably.
This is also pretty similar to what I do in real life as well lol.

I hoard my monies so I may spend my monies.
I have a giant list of items I wanna buy, so I store all my shop and posting profits so I can try to get em all.
I currently have just under 50k and I'm about to go raid the Exchange forum again to see if I can't fix that. XD

i think it helps that when i lack ideas i just can't buy anything.

When making avatars i usually try to think of colors i don't often use.
but then i run into the problem with monthly items of those colors that nothing matches
and has extra colors in it XD

I usually try to save my volts, but I spent a lot of them between the last two avatar changes I did (both changes were like 2 weeks apart from each other).

The most I had in my few months of being here is 25k, and that was easy for me to save because I wasn’t interested in changing my avatar for a while. Now it’s so hard to get my volts back up, especially since I’m not as social and spend 98% of my time on here in my spam threads haha.

@ArsenicAttitude: you can try save em for rare item types. crate items are usually 5k volts each, older it gets (depends on popularity, it might inflate or deflate in price), rare crate is 15k? (i would recommend checking in exchange thread about pricing). RIG items has price on their own

if i knew any better, 20k+ is worth a rare old item.

some particular event items inflate over time also.

i guess best bet is just save em >u<

But every time I think of getting something I'm like well what if this doesn't layer properly or I want this color instead of that color lol.

I think posting is one of the main things for me.
I'm used to a more fast paced speed with posting so I just have to get used to it lol.
I might make a hangout or something soon so I can get some more volts.

I'm still getting used to everything on here so I need to check the exchange again and just make a list of all the things I want.
Maybe that'll get me more organized and save for what I really want.

@ArsenicAttitude: I usually get to about 60k before I go on a spending spree lol. You'll probably rack up a lot of Volts during the next event without even noticing, that's usually when I get a lot of mine. You can also have two? mule accounts (I think, @Totalanimefan: would know.) The airships add up over awhile (and I also now have a hoard of daily items lmao)

I accumulate volts so I can spend them, but it's so hard to find/get what I'm after, I end up hoarding it all anyway. That said, I do like to see my balance stay around a certain level. Never know when you'll need that
