(˵◕ ᴥ ◕˵)ノ Hello there
@Kory: Yes! I think the biggest reasen is that alot of people choose quentity over quality. But alot of people forget that an animated movie is still art. Sure its consumed like its nothing but people still put so much time in it, actually creating something. I love watching behinde the scenes and seeing concept art.
Talking like this makes me remember that ive always wanted to make an animation myself. But in belgium we have this "fun" way of categorizing schools. They are split into what kind of stuff you want to do when you grow up. And for some reasen in order to go to artschool you would have to go to the "smart" school (where its only studying and alot of exams) Wich literly everybody finds so bs. And while all my teachers told me to do it i knew i wouldnt be able to handle the stress so i went to graphic design and now have a degree in something i never even wanted to do bc it was closest to art ... anyway at the end of it i got burned out of school and im now home with depresion. I still wished i wouldv done something else then graphic design but oh welp. My dream now is to become a tattoo artist, mayby not even for my whole life. But its something i atleats wanna do for awhile.
(ofc thats not rly posible now with my depression and the pandemic...)
