Ok so for as long as i can remember ppl have commented on how i smell like cigarrete ash. The rezsen being is bc i live with my grandparents who had always smoked. Its honestly emberasing if i like try to go aply for a job and the first question i get asked is if i smoke. Ive asked my grandparents countless times to stop but i honestly dont think thatl ever happen. So like im constantly paranoid ab it bc i dont smell it unless theres like a cigarette in my face. And even when ppl commented "you smell nice" it felt uncomfortable like "do i smell horible otherwise? why do u comment on it now???"
Well today i went to my friend and i had to give her somestuff, one of the things was a patch i made out of felt. When packing things up i looked at it and got paranoid again so i made the stupid decision of spraying perfume on it.... I realised as soon as it was done that it was a mistake...

Well i gave it to my friend, all went well. Then i got home and she sent me "hey i dont wanna be rude but why does the patch smell like pure deadorant, i had to take it somewhere else bc i couldnt breath anymore"
I felt like dying, so ofc i conffesed and told her im sorry. Wich resulted in her feeling bad for me so we went back n forth apologizing...
Shes not mad btw, ive been friends with her for 6 years now. But oof i felt so dumb.
We looked up how to get the smell out but she thinks shes gonna frame it... i gues the smell will be contained?
