@koneko: Fair enough. I grew up the opposite. I had vinyl growing up and my mom and I were always mopping. I imagine when my kids are older, they'll hate carpet. lol. We have 3 huskies, so we are vacuuming carpet every other day.
We can't afford to switch out the carpet yet. Other house repairs and needs come first.

@koneko: lol I totally get that. omgosh, i grew up loving socks and slippers. but losing them constantly. Now, feels weird to wear slippers inside unless it's a cold day. It's cold where I live, but luckily we don't have snow yet like my old town is getting.
I've been whining about the cold the last couple days, but I saw that the town I used to live in got like 5 inches of snow. lol

I was in Hospital for Covid. Three weeks. and It's just the Fatigue after being bed bound. well that and I'm on oxygen. we're hoping it'll be better by thursday or something. or at least I am. <:3( )~~

Our household got covid about 3 weeks ago, it's slowly hitting each person. My husband and I are the last ones holding out and it's nerve-wracking. My kids got sick for like 2 or 3 days and they're back to normal. My tenants upstairs have had it the longest and the one has a dry cough that I can hear from across the 2 story house. -shutters-
So yeah, I'm praying my husband and I will be okay. But we're bound to get it at this point.
