Hazel didn't answer him, just remained silent.

"I ... I just... " She started.

"I am sorry, but I cannot. I just... I cannot." She then said, knowing that it wouldn't be enough, but also knowing that she couldn't tell him the truth. She'd always been beaten for bringing it up, and she didn't dare give him reason to beat her now.

Hazel was silent for a moment, shaking her head slightly.

"I..." She started, sighing heavily.

"I cannot." She then said.

"I am sorry, but... but I just..." She bit her lip slightly before getting to her feet.

"Should I leave...?" She asked, still not turning to face him, or the house.

"I will if you wish. Just... Just say the word."

Hazel was silent before sighing.

"Then I will." She stated simply, plainly as she turned to face him. She didn't make eye contact with him, didn't even look at him, but he could see it. Her stormy eyes were far more turbulent a storm than normal, now. There were also what he swore were lightning strikes within.

"Lead the way."

Hazel was silent.

"I am fine. Let's go." She then said before stepping up to him, ushering him inside. She didn't want to enter, but she knew she would have to. However, she also knew that this was needed.

She wanted to move.

She wanted to live in such a gorgeous area.

She would just have to ... deal with the migraines that would come from being here.

Hazel just shook her head, but didn't say anything.

"Are you all right, Hazel?" Harmony asked, concern in her voice and features.

"Yes." Was the teens curt reply.

"Well, all right then." Harmony said with a light sigh before making sure everything was good and the coffee was doing tis thing.

"Shall we view downstairs then?" She asked

"Those giant windows we walked past next to the kitchen." Harmony answered.

"They're doors. Mana boosted glass." She added.

"I'm also willing to make whatever edits may or may not be needed." She finished with as she unlocked the door at the bottom of the stairs. When they stepped through the door, there was a rather large room, with a few doors off from it.

"Apartment through there." She told him.

"Extra bedroom there." She added, pointing to another door, "and a pool through that one there."

Harmony shrugged.

"I lived down here for awhile." She told him honestly.

"Built this house myself, with some help for electrical, plumbing, gas, all that kinda stuff." She continued.

"Was living down here while upstairs was being built." As she spoke, she made her way to the extra bedroom, as it was closest, and opened the door so they could check.

"All of the doors are unlocked, and the pool is heated."

Hazel, who had been silent since she entered the house, didn't answer. She had her head down, and seemed to honestly be in pain.

"It... I like it" She managed to get out after a second or two, a bit of a submissive tone to her voice. It was severely overshadowed by the pain in her words though.

"Are you---" Harmony started before pausing as the glamour that Hazel had put upon herself flickered a few times, quickly.

"... G... Get back... Th... this is going to hurt." Hazel managed to get out as a warning, before the glamour flickered again, but the black she was hiding seemed to be growing off of her.

Ash could easily tell what was going on, if only just because they were so close in the past.

Hazel was in pain, and her mana was reacting, defensively, as it normally would.

"I..." Hazel started before just letting out a blood curdling scream... and collapsing. There was a pulse of mana as she fell, but it seemed all it did was mess with their nerves for a bit.

Sadly, it did mean no one could catch her.

"... The hell happened to her?" Harmony asked bluntly after she, at least, was able to move properly again. She made her way over to the downed teen and checked for a pulse.

"Pulse is erratic, but she's alive." She commented as she lifted her.

"... She's stupid light. Does she eat enough?" She then asked, concern in her voice.

As soon as Ash said that one name, the air around Harmony darkened.

"So she's a victim too." She commented as she walked to the door into the apartment proper and got Ash to open it. Once inside, she just made her way to the couch in the living area and laid Hazel down.

"And why? Me." She stated.

"Betcha anything it's because of me." She knew questions would be coming, and she knew that she'd have to answer them as soon as she got his number.

That didn't mean she wanted to, though.
