I don't know how I've pulled this out of my butt.im in chapter two. Though I need to make it chapter three shortly and the antagonist is just showing up. He needs a good name.

sometimes naming a character is the hardest part. Lol

I've made everything up as I've gone this month. I went into this with no plans. I was not prepared. I knew she has to be from the country moving to the city because she fell in love with it. And that she was going to be a critical/reviewer. She was meant to be vegetarian but that got nixed and another character became the vegetarian and he has a crush on her.
Currently recovering from large amounts of PTSD. I'll post when I can, please ping for replies. Things are very difficult for me right now.
@Shadami: Sometimes diving in headfirst is the BEST way to go about it, actually.
You can get some of the best ideas, since you're letting the story write itself, instead of trying to force the story into YOUR plans.
@Lunakiri: Exactly! Finally someone agrees!! Literally gets me nowhere in life. All it does is stress me out all the time. All I think about now are deadlines. Am I gonna get this done in time? What if I fail? My grades are dropping (well in math) and I'll never bring them up. What if all my grades are low? What if I don't pass 10th grade or what if I do but 11th grade is just too hard? What about the state tests? I'm never gonna pass those!
@RainbowPanda: State tests, no comment. I'm in Canada, so those aren't a thing.

Math? Yeah. You need to know how to do your basic addition and the like. BUT! There's a calculator in every.single.cell.phone. So it's not SO crucial now.
English? Ok, that's needed. Essays are not though.
Art really isn't. It's good though, because it can provide an emotional out for people who need it.
Same with Drama.
Geography? Are you gonna be someone with no net connection? Someone who plans to travel? No? Pretty much useless.
History isn't the most useful either, even though that's good to know.
Etc.

@RainbowPanda: History is something that should definitely be covered. If only JUST so that people don't make the same mistakes. We learn from the past, after all.

Try being in a catholic school that requires religion to be taken XD
Although, grade 11 religion was rather interesting. World Religions. So it was everything. A bit on all the different ones out there,m Judaism, Hinduism, etc.
