So finally, we are officially moving.
Although we have to move in with my grandparents temporarily due to circumstances
as our land lord we pretty much have had to fight just to get things worked on/fixed because she just wouldn't lift a finger to do the bare minimum. She is raising the rent, which we can barely afford as it is, so we have no choice but to move now.
But i'll be glad not to deal with her anymore.

UPDATE 6/14/22: making a new update to keep those updated who want to know.
not moving in with grandparents so now we have to find a place and pack within 2 ish weeks.

grandfather offered to pay rent of new place but I doubt that'll last considering any time he offers help he tries to milk it for all we are worth and use it as an excuse to take advantage of or to excuse him being a jerk.
either way the situation sucks

Yay for not dealing with shitty landlords anymore! I hope that this move will be a great one for you, even if moving is always just so expensive and hectic.

@Totalanimefan: am relieved. cause today i heard hammering through my wall.
when i had a splitting headache.
tho now we have to pack up. tho have to wait until grandparents back into town.

@jolly: Yeah i hope so. am nervous temporarily living back with my grandparents. Not my grandmother so much
but grandfather is a bit...strict. likes things a certain way and it's not a super adhd friendy environment.
but we don't have much of a choice right now.

I will definitely keep you all posted!
we have at least 30 days to move out.
i think we will have to pay for a storage unit as my grandparents' spare rooms have furniture in it already
so we'll have to move our bigger furniture there.

...............yeah... I know your relationship with your landlady has been adversarial at best, but this is a mixed bag for you, especially with the relatively sudden timing. Hopefully it will work out for the best, even with the temporary relocation with your grandparents. Good luck. :3

@Wildfire: not officially. but it is the only place we have.
we wanted to wait until my grandmother was better but we are unsure if we even have enough time until they come back.
since my grandma is still recovering. my dad just hates telling them our situation as before we lived in our current place
we temporarily lived with my grandparents.
so im not even sure when he'll ask or tell them what has been happening.

@Totalanimefan: yeah definitely. meantime i have been just applying to jobs that i can

@MoodyB: ouch. That sounds like a difficult situation even if you won't be living directly with your grandparents... but at least you don't have to deal with that horrible landlady any longer. Good luck with everything. :3

@Wildfire: yeah but the issue is we can't afford any place lol so even if he claims he'll pay rent eventually he'll get sick of it. and we're barely living off social security.
my grandma feels bad. as she got real sick
her husband has been blaming her for even getting sick.

@Wildfire: yup. his attitude just gets worse which is why I know this idea of his will come to bite us pretty hard
he has even tried asking my mom for MONTHLY PAYMENTS when he bought her a washer and dryer when we didn't have one
so I don't trust anything he does out of the goodness of his heart .

but seems this is the only option and we only have roughly 2 weeks to pack and find a place.

@Wildfire: yeah. and my family is poor so it's like we don't pay him because we don't want to. it's because we can't

so hope we can find a decent place.
the place my grandma recommended us won't even let us see it online because of low credit score.

@MoodyB: it sounds like you guys have some work to do on correcting that credit score, getting better income, etc. It's not easy to jump through those hoops, but sometimes it's necessary. :/

Yeah im glad to get rid of her honestly.
she is quite nasty toward us and i honestly have no idea why. like she is very condescending toward my family.
and we really do not need that kind of energy in our lives.

the only sad part i am sad about leaving this place is recently a cat has began living in our shed.
not so much a stray cat. possibly a feral cat. or semi feral.
but we nicknamed him Hunter. because he's been hunting the squirrels in our yard.
but he is a very sweet kitty.

but we are gonna call a TNR place for him.
