Anyways, any artists planning to join artfight this year!?
If so which year is this for you for art fight?

For me I am very new to artfight so i am still learning about what i will need to do.
I've known about it for a few years but i never particpated and still kinda confused about a lot of it.
This is going to be my first year participating so am kinda nervous haha.

Im joining for the second year :^D
However ive known of artfight for years! it was just the first year i was able to lol

You basicly just draw a character (of ur choice) of the oposite team to get points. You upload that (theres a button but u can only see it when artfight is actually happening) and click on the right things (like does your art have a background, is it a bust ect)

Your allowed to draw characters of your own team but i believe thats called frinedly fire and dosnt ear you/r team points.

I recomend uploading some characters already!

I know theres more ppl here that participated with artfight last year aswel!

Ah that's what i thought when reading how it works.
so the themes don't coordinate with what you draw?
I saw a lot of past team theme names. so i think that confused me.

I spent past 2-3 days uploading 3 of my favorite OCs. I still have one more left to upload.
which is all of my art i have drawn. I do not draw a ton of my Oc's.
My poor OC Edith has...1 ref and it's a couple piece i drew LOL.

I love love Artfight
I'm geeky enough to have two of my team stickers on my car's rear window (steampunk and sugar teams) haha
The annual event gives me a lot of joy

I felt lame last year since I couldn't beat my record with attacking people
I was moving during the start of it
and same thing might happen this year, but Imma make sure I at least make 20 attacks ;v;

@MoodyB: Yea the themes don't coordinate with what you draw, but you can if you want!

Ive honestly uploaded one mayby 2 for each character but i also linked to their toyhouse page (some characters have like 30+ pieces of art i rly dont waan start with uploading all that lol)

I've been wanting to draw but all my personal work has been a lot of bigger painting pieces so i thought
'maybe this year i'll actually join' LOL.
i forgot when i joined the actual site. but i have heard of it for years.

No idea how many attacks I'll be able to do, but hopefully i'll do enough haha.

I probably should link it to my toyhouse but they kinda have the same pics as on art fight.
i don't actually have a ton of art of my Ocs because im always getting distracted lolol.

This will be my 2nd active year! I had joined a lot longer ago, but last year was the first year I participated. I'm in their Discord server and do their off-season minigames now and again (they're sadly closed now in prep for art fight).
I was on Team Cyberpunk last year and helped make a "Less Heavy Cyberpunk Playlist" on spotify ^^;

@Kawaii Neko Teaa: It doesn't start until July 1st.
one way that was put was it's like a huge giant art trade lol.
You basically "attack" or draw someone's character from the opposite team.
You will be sorted on a team on July 1st by clicking events once it's available from what i gather.

I think I remember us talking about this not too long ago.
Artfight is really great for that!
joining the discord server helps a lot too with grabbing more victims to draw (especially since the site USUALLY crashes in the first week, def save refs outside of the website to keep drawing!)

I think this only appears during on-season, but there's usually a button at the top of the website that just takes you to a random character profile. Also good for challenging yourself to drawing something without selecting it :D

i've known about art fight for many, many years, but 2021 was the first time i joined in.
super excited for this year! i don't really care that much about getting art of my own characters, i just loove drawing fun looking designs/people.
