ugh i’m sorry. that just sounds like a big pain in the ass. times are tough lately. but if my medication helped with anything it’s that there is hope. i don’t know if things will actually get better, but i got some things in the present that help me get by. and that’s enough for now, lol.

one of the reasons i really want to move is to get a cat. my family cat is 15 and we just found out she has arthritis. she’s ok, but she’s gettin old. i love her sm, even though i don’t live with her or see her often. so i’ve been wanting a lil pal of my own. ^^

@icedchai: yeah everything has been so stressful in my household.
we're still looking for a place tho.
just relieved but stressed we at least have a place to live for a while lolol.

hoping things continue to improve and get better for you.

yeah. i've never had a cat. but we'd love one since i feel we need an emotional support animal in my family
from all the trauma and grief we've been through recently.

@moodyb: aw cats are such angels. i’ve never had a dog but i’m sure they’re great pets too. but cats….. man…
they really know what you’re feeling. they make great emotional support animals. plus they’re (relatively) easy to take care of. one of the main reasons i’ve been putting off getting a cat even though i really want one is i didn’t feel capable of the work that needs to be put in. i could barely take care of myself for a little while lol

@icedchai: i absolutely understand not getting one for that reason.
a long time we were in the same boat as well as no places we lived ever allowed cats.
and income has been a bit tricky to afford a cat.

im hoping once we move we'll be able to afford one.
i love cats..like dogs i am like okay with but im still quite scared of dogs from past bad experiences.
but cats...they have my WHOLE HEART.

cause i would absolutely go nuts for them.
tho i know i won't be able to get one while living here. land lady blames us for every tiny little thing lol.

my sister and I have a place we plan to go to.
they give their favorite toy and also give you liter, and the food they prefer.
it's practically like a whole bundle when you adopt at our shelter.

like i always wanted a calico so bad.
my sister loves tuxies and my dad loves Siamese cats as he had one years ago named Puma.

@moodyb: ahhh i also love calicos. i think most calicos are female… i heard that somewhere, probably tik tok, but i don’t know if it’s true. i do know that almost all orange cats are male. lol fun fact

@icedchai: basically 90% of the time calicos are always females.
however, male calicos are super rare.

Kinda like most orange kitties are boys. but there can be female orange cats.
but male calicos are more rare than that.

i watch a ton of fostering for cats.

i got two commissions that are kinda big.
so those have to be priority for now.

i just want to paint lol.
but i can at least afford maybe a class after commissions are complete.
