@Moodyb: Ugh that stinks. I grew up without A/C for the most part- it's truly something I don't take for granted. Even when I do have it on, I only leave it at like 78 degrees or so. That's all I can afford. lol

@PashminaPanda: yeah i grew up without it entirely and not being able to afford it.
so just dying in the heat is all we can manage.
but luckily today it's only 73. a much cooler day so i can get some artwork done and finished. lol.

on the hot days since monsoon season and it comes to my state
so that is a relief. so maybe i can finish some work on time lolol

@Moodyb: Lol yes, fingers crossed. Haha you guys have a monsoon season? That sounds pretty dope. We just have tornado season and the rest is pretty much dumb cold. :') Which I'm okay with honestly. lol

@totalanimefan: Oh the Owl House is a show! lol It's literally about this witch that lives in an Owl House and a human finds her after being transported to her world. It gave a lot of Gravity Falls vibes if you've seen that show before.

@PashminaPanda: basically means we are getting a lot of rain.
other states nearby when they get cold weather it travels through my state so even some days that are scorchers like today
we still managed to get a bit of rain to cool it down even for a little while.

@moodyb: Rain does help cool things down. I love that there's always a slight breeze when it rains, also. I work from home and I love having the windows open on rainy days since nobody is outside doing yard work or being loud.

rain is very inspiring to me.
it always seems to make me just want to paint or draw when it rains.
tho when it's hot i have to keep all and every window shut to block out the heat.

@totalanimefan: I believe you may have mentioned you had Long Covid. :o How high was your heart rate? I think mine normally falls between 60-70, but my blood pressure is on the higher side so that's something I've been trying to work on. (I think it's mostly stress related tbh. It spiked when that Roe v. Wade document was leaked.) Were they checking something in particular with the blood draw, or was it just a routine one? I'm really glad you were finally able to do it though.

And no worries, you can rant/vent anytime! c: My week was okay, just busy hence why I haven't had a whole lot of time to be on Voltra. ^^' I really need to just start logging in from my phone, that'd be really cool if this site had a phone app or something.

And I've been okay. I've been having some gut issues (possibly due to an ovarian cyst, not 100% sure). I have a doctor's appointment set for 8/22 so I'm hoping things clear up with my next period.

Thinking about playing Pokemon Crystal again.
