@Wildfire: Thanks. <3 It's not so bad if you have a plan on where to go and how to get there, but when that gets tossed in the air, then it's nerve-wracking. My workplace has historically evacuated to a specific hotel up by the airport and they had a bus on reserve for such a purpose. However, both of those plans were shot this year, so we were scrambling to get plans in place for our residents and staff to evacuate. We are hoping to return as early as tomorrow afternoon, but might have to wait until Saturday.
I'm staying with my parents, whose county didn't get mandatory evacuation orders. Which is odd because usually when I do, they're soon to follow. And normally we evacuate to my aunt's, who lives in a non-evacuation zone, but luckily we didn't have to do that this year.
