I really wanted rainbows because I finally came out of the closet to a bunch of family. Mainly my dad. Which was a big deal. ^^

I wish I could draw quick doodles without worrying whether it's good or not. ^^; I started watching drawfee, jazza, bloodstainedwings, and drawingwiffwaffles on YouTube. And all of them really helped boost my confidence in my art. Just enjoy it. Let it happen however it comes out. Oh well if it's not perfect. Oh well if it doesn't match someone else's style.
I definitely feel like I've improved since I started watching them as well because I don't hold back at a blank canvas anymore. I don't get frustrated when a line isn't right.
I definitely didn't like to even share my doodles before and would apologize cause my art is crap xD

Ohh I see! You're right on regarding drawing in general as long as you're happy and having fun.
And I felt the same about the whole sharing doodles thing and well as apologizing my art being 'ugly' lol. Especially when it comes to colouring, shading and other things like backgrounds, props, etc. besides drawing characters which I'm still trying to figure it out on my own (mainly from my memory haha)

My characters are suuuuper unrealistic. My proportions aren't always right. hands are super inconsistent. and my faces get real wonky. xD but I've stopped hating it. lol.

I have a tendency to draw characters in a stylized or sometimes a very half-baked semi-realistic (which is not very semi-realistic hahaha), the same can be said about the way I draw anatomy, proportions and perspective/angles. Unless I'm like "ah forget it, I'm gonna leave it like that" and be done with it so I don't have to start over again.

My coloring book ... i don't think is really going to be like many coloring books out there. and i'm super nervous and going to be self publishing on amazon. so extra nervous. and i'm just... crossing my fingers at this point.
I think my art is cartoonime Cartoon-anime its somewhere in between.

My dad printed the page i showed him out and colored it immediately xD and my mother in law (ex mother in law?...) absolutely loved it as well and said it was something she would actually enjoy coloring. so i think i'm doing a good job.
