Update! I'm going to take a few more days to iron this process out! It's less about getting a good result, and more trying to get it into an easily repeatable format. I appreciate your patience, please pardon our dust.

They aren't pixel dolls, but I could convert them to that. They're in 3D. A 'base' is the default body, like the bases on Voltra. In this case, I use 'stage' for the stand.

Update! I have quite a few bases done, but I don't want to show them without good materials and lighting. I'll show my basic material setup, which I think works just fine; I'm still working on the lighting, which I think may be just a shade dramatic. I'll probably add a fill, or make it 3-point. Thoughts and criticism welcome.
