Veela are more than just women. They have a kind of magic that, when they for example dance, men start doing the most ridiculous things.

You can't kill a Veela like that. They're complete different creatures.
Veela always have a human form, until they get mad. Then they have a bird like head and get wings. The rest is still human. Once they calm down, they're back to their complete human form.
Maybe when you pluck their hair they get mad and get a birdlike head and grow wings :vanora_xd: But yeah Veelas and Vilas seem to have some differences. Maybe distant cousins and not exactly the same creature.
