@tuijp: I can specify you're a Rivendell elf on the front page. :) And aww, that's awesome. LotR is the second fanbase I joined (Supernatural being the first) but it's the one that I feel closest to/my first favorite.

@tuijp: Fair enough. Even though LotR had been out for years, I never really got the chance to read the books or watch the movies until I was 18. Mainly because that's when I was first introduced to it.

@tuijp: Ah, okay. That makes sense then. I was 4 when the first movie came out so I was much too young to know about it then. Lol. Plus, the Ringwraiths and Orcs would have probably scared me.
When the movies first came out I was pretty young so I got Gandalf and Saruman completely mixed up especially after Gandalf started wearing white.
