I went to the supermarket today on my bicycle (only a mile away) and I took a shortcut. By the church is a little path and I usually take that route.
Today, no difference, but there were 3 old women standing on the path, chatting. They saw me coming and moved out of the way (first 2 wanted to make room, just to change places) and, when I went by it, a dog jumped out. I managed to stop, less than an inch away from the dog.
But I also managed to hit a bone on the inside of my right ankle against a metal part of my bicycle. >.<
I now have a beautiful blue line in the inside of my ankle.
I should've listened to Tolkien: shortcuts make long delays.
