We're already at the cafe. I'm sure it wouldn't take too long to ask if they have seen her or not, and shouldn't waste too much time. Velvet may have just simply forgotten about the visit or didn't find it relevant.

As others have surmised, we can always talk to Velvet later. If we leave the cafe now, though, we don't know if the Regular will show up for us to question at another time.

By the way, Von. I was wondering if the pastry had any deeper meaning that you know of? It may just be a name, but 'pain' in the name could imply Velvet only goes for the pastry when she's in a certain mood.
