I wanted to be in a band, which I didn't realise wasn't a full on career :P I did actually play in a band while I was still a kid so???
I also wanted to be an archeologist, but not one of those that went out and did hands on work. I wanted to be like in an office writing about stuff. I was a weird kid.

I always wanted to be a writer. I started reading at a young age, and by the time I was in kindergarten, instead of playing with the other kids, I would write little stories and give them to my teacher.
At one point during my childhood, someone saw me drawing and said I should be an architect, and that stuck with me for a while. I didn't exactly know what architects did apart from the drawing aspect, but it was definitely one of my more plausible career goals. :P
I also wanted to be an illustrator (for all those books I was going to write, obviously), and I had a phase where I wanted to start a band and began writing song lyrics, but I have no musical talent so that didn't go far xD

As a child I wanted to be a fashion designer and a marine biologist, as I got older a zooologist, but my math teacher told me I wouldn’t be able to do that because I’m not good with math.. then from there an art therapist and now I have no idea what to do with my life.

I know at some point, I wanted to be a Veterinarian cause I love animals. Then...a bit later I wanted to be a writer.
Now, I'm just happy to make it through a day let alone anything else xD

My 11 year old wants to do pediatric psychiatry. Because he wants to help children who are suffering with mental health issues feel happy. He didn't know the term for a while and called it "psychomolgist for kids".
He's so cute.
My 16 year old wants to do something with fashion.

@Sasha: I'm from The Netherlands and I convinced a few people over the years that The Netherlands is secretly Neverland. I also always tell them that Peter Pan is pretty annoying.
