The moon!
It's always out at night and it has a dark side that is usually hidden.
Forums The Blackout Virgil's Desperate Spell (END: LORE UPDATE)
Wouldn't it be 1 that looks like a sun? It hides in the darkness and follows us into the daytime.
I forgot the moon's darkside too that probably makes more sense.
With stars I think we follow them more, like the north star.

It could be stars, except they're bright all around, so they don't have a dark side!
I definitely think it's the moon!

He writes it down. The page seems to accept this answer. Moon is right... Let's move on then, no time to waste.
Have A Clue.
Virgil shakily points to a clue, he reads it aloud.
"An unseen support, we are many. We are with you from beginning to end."

Hmm, could it be 9, for bones? I'm thinking of the human skeleton - it supports our bodies and we have it our whole life...?
I mean we can see the stars but they are supportive...?
Oooh! Theory's is way better a...theory... *curls up in corner punning without meaning to* I'm sorry Virgil. I swear I'm taking it seriously.

I was thinking that too, but then also thought that was quite morbid answer...
Hmmm... *Seriously stares at the clues*
There is something haunting in the light of the moon;
It has all the dispassionateness of a disembodied soul, and something of its inconceivable mystery.

@Juneberry: Haha, we were thinking the same thing. But I couldn't figure out how stars could be supportive. I do support Theory's answer though. ;o

@Dowan: I mean we look at them as supporting us in ways such as navigation when we follow them, and astrology sees it as an unseen aid.
@Faust Sheep: If we look at numbers... 7 is seen as 'lucky' for some reason, but that luck is unseen. But yeah... I'm not really seeing anything else either. Maybe electricity? We rarely are able to see it, but it aids us. And lightning helps plants grow by adding nutrients to the soil.
Hmm... He tries out the answers given, and bones remains on the page.
That was it... Hm, let me get the next one.
