Ooh, I like "shooting star" although stars aren't technically solid either. Hm...

@Boris: Ahhhh that's right. "Shooting star" refers to a meteor, which is a solid rock. And they can be gone in a flash.

I'm still going with lightning...
Meteors and comets are not very chaotic unless they hit something... while lightning is pretty much chaotic all the time.
Edit: Oh and when meteors hit something they're not gone at all, they are just broken up.

@Faust sheep: Ugh, that's true... "Chaos solidified" does sound more like lightning than a big rock that's moving in one direction really fast :/
I still vote lightning myself for that reason. Solid chaos, flashing... It's used as a symbol for 'flash' like on cameras and stuff too, for the pun's sake.
