I ended up being so exhausted last night, that...*cough* I actually forgot to boil the eggs. And only realized this halfway through. By then, it was like...no point xD So still got to dye the eggs....just...no eating them.

@RoseyWitch: it was a good day for us all, and thank you. nope it wasn't that type of a cake. The cake part had the taste like angel food cake but it was homemade, and the frosty reminded me of like vanilla marshmallow fluff but it was frosting, then there were tidbits of pinapple in the frosting ontop of the cake.

I just wanted to share with you guys these eggs because damn, they are so pretty. They are called Pisanica.
Pisanica is a decorated Croatian Easter egg that comes from an old Slavic custom dating back to pagan times.

You guys are very welcome! If you are curious, it is done by applying honey wax in intricate patterns then dipping in different colored dyes.
We also like painting life sized eggs and placing it around town. The ones in my city are done by elementary schools from the surrounding villages.
