Basically they live in an aquarium with water and a heater and a land area to get out of the water and bask under a heat light (sun light tanning sorta) it helps their shell

That happened with the dog my sisters and I got when we were younger. Thought it was a male, so named him Buddy...turns on..Buddy got pregnant so....lol but kept the name o.o Was too late to turn back!

@Damia Flagg: I hope you get some well deserved rest! I feel ya. I haven't been sleeping super well and I think my body was saying "get some rest" when I suddenly just knocked out for 2 hours lol!
@nyreen: I've been a bit stressed and sick so I've not been getting a lot of rest. Just this week I have had 3 different visits to the hospital for test. I keep hoping I the doctors can figure out what is wrong with me. I'm tired of being sick so much.
@Damia Flagg: hmmm. Maybe a lymph node infection? Sometimes those can sneak up on you. Do you smoke? I use to smoke and when I stopped by lungs improved and I haven't been sick ( except for a brief 3 day flu ) for four months now. I think it was destroying my immune system. Also not sleeping enough will make it harder to recover. :vanora_sad: I hope they can figure it out soon!

@nyreen: Nope never did never had an interest in smoking plus I have asthma. I know part of my issues is the fact that I will eventually need to have a liver transplant if I am a good candidate. My liver doesn't work as well as it should, but it I am having a lot of other problems at the moment including swelling that won't go away. My foot is so swollen I can barely walk on it at the moment. It's not all because of retaining fluid, but I know that is part of it. My specialist has me taking 4 fluid pills a day. The swelling is so bad I can't lay down to sleep. I've gained 40 pounds since Christmas and I barely eat. Also I seem to stay sick to my stomach so I can't keep my food in my stomach long enough to get any benefit from eating.
