Oh dang this is a smart idea. This way you don't spend hours on a piece and just keep going. I'm going to have to try this 10 minute timer thing out myself one day.
I've been slacking with art as well. Idk if you do, but I find pixel art to be a good medium with art block, since it's simple and quick. Plus it's fun to do something small of your characters.
