One week down of new job...

It's been hectic but also at the same time, way more chill? I realized on the second day that my new office space is way more relaxed because we're not being verbally abused by customers all day :'D

I kinda freaked out on the third day of training because my friend/boss was giving me TONS of tasks and I wasn't quite keeping up and was like, oh god, he expects all of this of me right now and i CAN"T DO THIS

but no he was just piling things on because i was getting through it all so quickly :vanora_sweat:

I THINK THIS IS GONNA STICK AND I'M EXCITED

also i have the most basics of php coding down now, hooray! ;w;

(for those who missed my other thread - i was hired for a new job within the same company, where i'm now doing software support with absolutely no coding experience whatsoever. i was working in their customer service department before this!)

@Addy: That's really great! I currently have an office job and do reports for clients of the security company I work for. It's super chill too and I don't have to deal with customers or co-workers since I work 8pm to 4am. I typically work on Voltra a bit during my shift too. (enough about me lol) I totally understand the "chill" office environment though. It really is the best and I hope you get to keep enjoying your new job!

I'm a bit of a lazy turd outside of work but I really do try to give it my all at work!

@nyreen: Thank you!! :D I was so nervous ahaha..

@fozzy: I was in the customer service part of the company - still an office tho cuz it was all chats/emails, but ughhh it's so much! Customers are awful and entitled. D: It was seriously a different feeling buzzing in the air in this new wing.

(also i love that you're literally getting paid to work on Voltra lmao)

@lady luna: YESSS THANK YOU! I like it enough so far but I suppose it might change down the line, but I'm thinking since i'm not being screamed at by our customer base it's going to be a much more pleasant experience :'3
