Not a place to throw your toy in. I bought a cheap set of cat toys and gave one of our kitties the mouse first. She was on the table playing with it and then threw it in the water bowl.

A clear act of defiance. OR she's trying to drown what is absolutely a live mouse :p
Heck according to my cats, its the food dish..t hough ocasionally the water bowel will do in a pinch.
