freedom day tomorrow in our country. To celebrate we have been freed during the second world war (Netherlands). During that day there are festivals all through the country with artists performing. There is a festival in my city as well. I wanne go since there is one artist I wanne see. However mom seems to made other plans that most likely involve me no matter if I want to or not.

@Siron: Yes another Dutchy. I have not talked about it yet. I am also not 100% sure if it involves me. It's just my dad his left foot hurts and he has trouble walking at the moment because of his back. So I can see my mom exluding him in her plans and pick me instead. While I also have back problems. I can walk and stuff. But anything that involves using my back will make it hurt more again.

Could you perhaps mention to her that you really want to go see a certain artist? Maybe she can include that in the plans she's making?

I remember the days my parents use to drag my brother and I around to God knows what. Like tree shopping. It was also super boring.
