When the Queen went to Maryland, the crows followed her footsteps
As they pecked at the ground, her footsteps rose up and bloomed red and blue roses
The demon of the forest was disturbed by this turn of events, and ordered their henchmen to chop the roses down. But the roses grew back bigger and stronger and thornier everytime, until eventually the roses that had risen up from the queen's footsteps had strangled the entire forest into oblivion.
As the queen walked back, she discovered this. Enraged at the destruction caused by her own footsteps, she set about to slaughtering her own creations herself. The blue roses withered the moment she touched them, while the red roses dripped into bloody puddles that covered everything, including the queen herself and the clean white dress she was wearing.
Since then, she's always longed to see those blue roses again, but they never bloomed, for her footsteps were always stained with red....
