If you laughed in a cave, your echo would laugh twice as much as you did. Just as if you were to say one word, it would repeat twice. Idk if this makes sense I suck at explaining
thunder
specifically, a thunder before the storm, where nothing moves yet but you can feel the static, the inertia already pulling at you. Thunder announcing a storm still far away, and as seconds pass you look at the sky expectantly, only to see the smallest flicker of lightning answer back.
the storm - thunder and lightning, and you. and soon, it will be here to laugh its mourning, monotone laugh, but for now there's only silence
