It sounds like an echo but I like the imagery coming from the riddle, like your echo is taunting you a little bit. It's also funny to think that a mere vibration can cause mountains to rumble.

Interesting that you all came to that conclusion. But I do remind you not to worry... There are no wrong answers. There are no right answers. The only meaning these phrases hold are the ones that you give it. There's power in it alone.
Inner monsters?
We often think they're bigger than they actually are
The second part is either that they're scary or that you're fighting against it
the last part is either the monster want to be let out because you A: can't hold them or B: because you're ready to fight it?

The idea of being vast but also in a cage sounds like an emotion to me, one that has been bottled up for a long time. But to gnash one's teeth while breathing heavily feels more specific, almost like anger or discontent? Envy works too!

your rage lays deep inside you. A dragon with flaming wings and venom on it's forked tongue, locked inside your rib cage like a red-eyed canary.it paces around, measuring the stone colored bars in the crimson colored light. ready to break through, ready to tear you apart.
if only you would pierce your chest with it's sharp, burning key, bearing two snake heads and the taste of sorrow
or not. but bearing the wait, it will rise once again
