Yeah, for me, the best way to describe oneself is to have a mirror present at the time and say all you see.
Otherwise, I never think about what I look like myself. I can only hear my own voice in my head.
Also, when I hear my voice aloud (on things like answering machines), it never sounds like how I hear myself in my head.

Nice. The main mirror here is in the bathroom and another on the back of a door.
Could always make a recording of your voice, then let others listen to it, and ask if that's how you sound to them.
