Looking at my copy of the Carroll novel crossed my mind but Googling would be better.
Yeah, this Duchess in particular seems to have some references, but not be based entirely on the real one. I don't think we'll be disadvantaged given we're provided descriptions and whatnot.
@Siron: This actually sounds pretty good.
He should distract her somehow as he makes his escape so that she can't stop him. Perhaps throw an item from the room at her. Just to conk her on the head or something that will slow her down not injure her.

I've googled the dutchess and I can see the differences Voltra has made.
In Carroll's novel, she's considered commentary on the Victorian era and lives by the motto: "Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it" perhaps Static can use that to distract her while he makes his escape.
@static i vote for Siron's awesome combined action so we can be action heroes save the fuzzy and get outside to fight on fair grounds.
