@Angelus: The last few days it's been right around 3 pm for me. It's very weird haha
I just saw the double Q in the word in the same spot as the double L in caterpillar. It was an educated guess!
Also here's the shift key for the puzzle:
Replace each letter with the letter that comes five letters before it alphabetically. (Treat the alphabet like a cycle, so that the letter before A is Z.)
A becomes V
B becomes W
C becomes X
D becomes Y
E becomes Z
F becomes A
G becomes B, etc.
@rainbowpanda: The shift was all Jesi! I was just solving it like a regular cipher!

@Angelus: Yep! (Jesi's explanation uses numbers, but it's just to illustrate how you count them. G becomes B because G = 7, and 7 - 5 = 2, which is B.)
@Vii: Never use division in a puzzle like this, it will only cause you pain!

Jesi Says:
@Vii: we always try to make things harder than they are XD
@Angelus: because Vii and Theory guess Caterpillar, so I subtracted C from H and got 5, and then I checked it with the rest of that word to make sure before doing the others XD

@Angelus: Yep, if the word HFYJWUNQQFW is "caterpillar" then you can just look at each letter and see that it always becomes the letter five earlier in the alphabet. :)
