@Dipper: Well, bored people looking for a challenge would (:
It also reminds me of this deciphering game i partook in once
they had this circle, outer had the symbols, inner had the corresponding letters and the one inside of that one went from 1 to 26
and you could turn them so you could easily make fun codes while others had to also figure out which 'mode' (1 -26) it was on
i mean it was basically some sort of cheat sheet, but it was fun either way, could take some time haha.
Forums Wonderland Ch. 11 Knave's Alibi
@Siron: I wonder how many that would be O3O XD
Oh, I've heard of the circle thing, it is useful from what I've heard XD

Oh thanks for that site, think im gonna give that a try sometime!
Also great work @ the font! It looks almost extraterrestrial!
Suspiciously extraterrestrial
do you have something to tell us? :')

@Dipper: Well, not sure, but we just gotta get the rest into it then :')
Or give it some fun theme that speaks to a lot of people, hmm *tries to use the thinking emote, but fails*
And the circle is really useful! I mean, it might take some time figuring out which mode is used, but especially for beginners it really comes in handy when trying to figure the text out!
It's a shame i don't know what it's called, hmm, im gonna see if i can find it o:
@Saeyra: ,
Good ,almost, afternoon everyone and welcome to: Voltra conspiracies
Are aliens really among us?
Find out next in 'this font is definitely not made out of crop circles'
Stay tuned!
(I'm sorry, it's early, my brain is acting weird, but if since you're the creator, if you're okay with it i might just ask, perhaps we can do fun things with it after the even ends? ^^)

@Siron: Unfortunately the font belongs to Voltra and so you are gonna have to ask Fozzy for it. But I definitely can design you a different one when I have free time for funsies. I had lots of fun creating it. :vanora_xd: I wanna go with a more curvy design next time because real fonts have curves!!
@Saeyra: Ah, i trust it's in good hands though ;o;
might still give it a try haha
and ohh i'd love to see more fonts coming from you!
I love how they also look so clean!
*looks down at own handwriting*
i should move to mars
might still give it a try haha

Sorry urk I struggle to navigate and answer things while on my phone but I'll try lol
@Saeyra: ooh thanks for the site. Also it looks so cool, the font you made OwO
@Siron: haha we can try lol, I'll look into stuff when I'm not on this terribly cramped phone anymore - I can't do touchscreen keyboard, the only reason I'm understandable right now is because of autocorrect lol

Codes use symbols or characters to represent letters, words, or phrases. They usually require a code book (rather like a dictionary) to encrypt and decrypt when using symbols to replace whole words and phrases, so like your code from the first chapter.
Ciphers are made with a common alphabet (such as the English alphabet), with the letters being moved around or changed to conceal the message. Because the letters are merely being shifted and substituted, no code book is required. Like Vyctor's puzzle from this chapter.
I'm sorry I'm being nitpicky urk OTL

@Siron: Oh thats not my original handwriting haha I used vector lines and shapes to make it all symmetrical and neat. The power of technology XD
@Dipper: Haha oh sorry its a code then. If you know how to draw basic shapes you can do what I did its just circles and triangles honestly with a few lines. :vanora_xd: Real characters are usually more complicated. I wanted to make it look electrical? So I didnt use curves but most alphabets use both curves and straight lines.
I would love to make a different way of constructing words like maybe each word is like a cube/circle filled with symbols that spell the word. Still using a very simplified alphabet. Its a fun idea.

@Dipper: I figured that apparently it's just called cipher disk :^)
Also if you're really into deciphering /encrypting/decryption stuff, this might be a fun site for you!
https://www.braingle.com/brainteasers/codes/index.php
it shows a lot of different kinds with explanations and all

@Saeyra: that's exactly what an alien would say
It's still art to me
- And yeah !! I used to make examples myself and solve them to see if i understood them correctly!
some of them were messing with me quite a bit though, the amount of notes i took that time :'D
Some use physical means as well! For one of them you can use a stick, wrap paper around it and write the text
and you can only read it when you have something from the same diameter
although a little easier to crack it's still a neat little thing (:

@Saeyra: ooohhh funnn
Also oh geez now I wanna talk to ghost even more
@Siron: oh lol I forgot the name
I can't look now coz my internet's going wonky rip lol, just getting this thread here to load is hard enough XD
I bought myself a pocket book of codes and ciphers a couple of years ago so it's my go-to for most things lol

@Saeyra: I might just plant grass for this very reason
So, what you're saying is, there's a hivemind?
I think i've seen him around on the forums?
Isnt he also an artist? o:
He did a great job on the puzzles!
@Dipper: rip dip's internet ;-;
That's cool though, i think im gonna try to get back into these codes as well, seems like a fun skill to have.
Some codes are nearly impossible though
inb4 someone mentions 'cicada 3301'

@Siron: heh yeah urk
At least voltra has the thing where you can see new posts without having to refresh hnng
Ah, I actually only heard of them the other day, I meant to look at them but haven't yet
Somewhat unwilling/scared to look though because though I love codes and ciphers, my confidence gets shot if I cant solve something lol

@Dipper: Yeah that's a great future tbh, also the fact it shows the number of new posts in the tabs themselves (:
Well cicada 3301 is really over the top though
p sure at one point they used real life coordinates so people had to work together?
but as soon as they started working together too much they shut it down for a while i think? Something like that.
sometimes clues are hidden in pictures so it's way more than just dechipering
And either no one knows what it really leads to or the ones who did aren't sharing it :')
Makes for great conspiracy theories haha.
But really, not being able to solve that one says nothing about one's skills cause the amount of weird tricks and what not it takes to even dechipher the smallest things is ridiculous
it's really cool to read about though!
