Poor pupper, last night my ex's doggo chewed through his pepper spray canister.

Our pupper tried to electrocute herself when we first got her. Didn’t have a kennel and she was just eating away at the lights on the Christmas tree when we were at work.

@Tuijp: Apparently it was on the bed with him. So both him and doggo got pepper sprayed at 1am last night. DX he was like 'hope doggo learned his lesson' and I'm like 'clean your fucking room'.
@Artemis: When my kitten Eliot arrived a month or so ago, I was so worried he'd electrocute himself chewing on the wires under my desk.
I'm just glad the dog didn't die from that.

@Another Movie Addict: Yas. She’s 4 now and stays in her kennel when we are gone.
@Artemis: I don't know how old my ex's dog is, I'm guessing young if he's still in the 'chew all the things' phase.
@Another Movie Addict: They usually get out of that around 1.. maybe 2 depending.. but reinforcement is needed for that.
@Artemis: I'm guessing pepper spray might be a strong re-enforcement.

We usually just told her “no” and smacked her on the nose or butt. She caught on quickly. The last time she got into anything and destroyed it was when we forgot to kennel her about 2 years ago.. She got bored and lonely- wasn’t really her fault we forgot to kennel her.

@Artemis: Eliot is a new addition to the family, a friend posted in a chat that his friend was giving away kittens. Saw the little butt and just had to have him. >w< wanted him bad enough that I was able to go against my social anxiety and work with a stranger.
