My parents got married.

It's also the first time in many, many years that they are together again. I bought some flowers today and brought them to my mother's grave today, to congratulate her with her wedding day.
I also just had rainbow layered cake. It was huge. Luckily, my dog was willing to help me finish it.

@Tuijp: Oh for sure, it's definitely one thing if you're moving and can't bring them with you. I had to leave my cats behind when we moved to AZ because they were indoor/outdoor and we didn't want them to become coyote food. But some members in my family are just so callous and would always ask my dad and I, "why don't you get rid of your dogs? They're just animals" As if they were some huge inconvenience on us xD some people are just....something else.
