I think that depends on the amount of dysphoria experienced and how necessary one considers surgery to be so that they can feel more like themselves on the outside.

But yes, some trans people don't have surgery, but that's either because they can live without it, or cannot afford it, and therefore have to learn to live without it, I think...

Though I'm possibly wrong.

@roshan: yep its best not to think it all at once or you freak out, get depressed or worse, day by day, step by step is the best
@Shark: that's true, you don't have to have surgery or want surgery to be trans, how you feel inside really makes it, I don't have bottom dysphoria so if i never get down stairs done it's not such a big deal, but i'm very dysphoric up top, I personally feel they stop me from truly passing as the gender my mind is.
@Luc: oh don't do that,don't want to blow out your vocal cords or something

@Luc: oh well yes that would natrually make your voice hurt if it is normally on the higher range. you should be careful with that cause you wouldnt want to damage your voice box and need surgery to fix it.

I just know that some people treat it as like, a checklist. And it's not necessary. You do you~
