A thief who smells like books
Dude I'm going to be pissed if another package got stolen. This'll be the second time.
If we are not home our neighbours always receive our packages. And then when we get back we pick them up.
My neighbors keep anything that gets brought to them.
@Tuijp: Do you get money for it? Because PostNL recently annouced that you can become a delivery home for your neighbourhood. And then you get about 0.30 cents a package.
The only one who gets paid for it is the dog. She gets pets and attention of the mail delivery man and of the people picking up their packages.
How about asking a few of the nearest neighbors if they've gotten the package before accusing them of stealing?
Right now I'm telling myself that the mail hasn't gotten here yet. But yeah, this is a neighborhood full of criminals.
It's an exceedingly rare occurrence but I've had at least two items I've ordered online never show up.
@Angelus: This has happened before. And most of them are thieves of some kind. Dog fighters, meth dealers, ect ect. All in this neighborhood.
The last time my dog's flea meds were stolen. They left the packaging behind and just took the pills.
@Another Movie Addict: Well shit. Terrible neighborhood you've got there.
@Angelus: Yep yep. We used to have this problem with someone breaking into people's sheds, and stealing rent money out of mailboxes. The landlord lives in this neighborhood, so people would put their rent in his mailbox.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I want to move.
