Get some peroxide or something, and give it a serious cleaning. You may have some gunk in there you gotta get out.
Also, be sure to - WITH A CLEAN HAND - rotate the stud/ring. Don't let it get stuck in one place. Again. Make sure your hand is CLEAN - and the ring if it's a ring.
Is it JUST your ear that is swollen? Or do you have a solid bump behind your ear?

@Lunakiri: ever since i got it i have been desinfecting it 3x a day but when i washed my hair the 2nd day some shampoo touched it and i think thats how it got infected... i'm still desinfecting 3x a day so it should get better ^^
I only touch it with clean hands and its just swollen, its getting better though, much better today

I can speak from experience, that there are several minor infections that will clear up without any sort of antibiotic or whatever (I get this variety around my nails all the time, because I tear my hangnails off. Bad habit, I know)
Just, if you notic a bump on your skull behind your ear, TAKE THEM OUT and GET TO THE DOC
That means it's hit your lymph node.
And that can be baaad
