It flies off just before the swiping net reaches it. It would appear a bird is mocking you.

I don't think we can bring Garry back. I think we have to give him something.
But I don't think we have anything that will help him, or know what we can trade for concessions.

Honestly, I don't think Garry is hungry though. The guy looks like he is being burned to a crisp. And also the dialogue is saying he is getting redder by the minute. It seems more like he has heat stroke and it's messing with his head, which can happen. And giving him food when he is having a heat stroke can actually make him feel worse. If he needs to be given anything it's water and a shady place to rest before his brain is fried. (at least fried more than it already is)

Puffing up his cheeks with air, he splashes under the water, beginning to search the ocean floor. It's a beautiful view as schools of tropical fish swim past and crabs scuttling hurriedly across the sand. He glances up for a moment, seeing Velvet's hand fishing around in the water still. She really seems desperate to find something.
Vreg continues to scan, but can't seem to find anything. It seems both you and Velvet are searching in the wrong spot.

Hmm, I kinda don't think it's underwater at all. Maybe she thinks she dropped it here, but it's actually somewhere else entirely.It would be nice if she had just told us what it was, haha.
