About 15 minutes back I heard a couple of sirens and then a loud noise above our house. So I looked and saw a trauma helicopter. Did some googling and there's a car accident on the highway near us.
Happens here all the time.

I don't even pay attention anymore when I hear hear sirens or a helikopter
If I hear a helicopter it means their are inmates who've escaped and are on the loose.
The county jail is like 25-30 minutes away from me, the prison is a lot further away though.
We'll carry on
We have a jail 10 km away and 2 youth detention centre. One is 10 km away and the other about 20-25 km.
Is that close o.o
Okay, then that's not terribly far away.

I worked about 2 streets away from one of them
There is also nuclear research centre 10 km away from my house
