Leon shrieked with excitement as they fell back into the portal, and disappeared.
When they did, Max sighed again, before making his way further into the house.
"We caught a break, Cheryl." he told his red-haired wife.
"Sydney's keeping Leon entertained in Australia for a bit. We have time to finish decorating this place and getting it ready, without him getting in the way."

"D...Desiree...?" he whispered, as she walked further in.

Desiree completely missed everything that was going through Max's head, and as Leon made his way to her, she crouched down.
"Really? You're the special boy for the day?" She asked. When he nodded, she just chuckled and brought her hands up, blowing into them... all the while trying to ignore part of her mind that was screaming at her to get out.
As she did so, he felt himself being breezed with ice cold air, (which fit considering it was rather warm in there), before what seemed to be a completely clear triangle remained. Along with a little rod.
"Here, take it." She said with a smile.

"My apologies for that little distraction." She then said. "Do you happen to have any questions or concerns for me?" She asked.
