They go with watercolours quite well to give some texture or some hard edges better than using a brush sometimes.

D_D xD ) Also, I like the arts you have displayed here too. :D I love the white colouring on non-white paper style! ^w^ One of my favourite things to do with non-white paper. ^D^ And I like your speedpaint. ^D^ It really shows all the colouring layers that can go into a coloured pencil picture. ^_^ (Also, lol on the having watercolour pencils and not knowing where they are because I'm in the same situation. xD )

Not quite as good as the others, might go play with the shadows more to darken them a bit. Probably would make a huge difference if I did that.
