"Uh, hey." he said, stepping inside and closing the door behind him.
"Good to see you're awake." he told her, approaching the chair beside her bed and sitting down in it.

"And I'll be back with food." he then told her.
With that, he excused himself, before leaving the room. Only about 30 seconds had passed, before the door opened again, and Jaden poked his head inside.

"Ah... ah... wh-wh-what?" he stammered.

He then looked around, almost as though making sure they were alone.

He then leaned in closer, and she brought her wrist close towards him. He opened his mouth, allowing her to see the fangs in his maw, before gently piercing down into her wrist.
He then started to drain from her for about 15 seconds, before she noticed he had a look of severe discomfort in his eyes... before he promptly withdrew his fangs.
"Ah. Ow, ow... no... nope, can't do it." he said, bringing a hand up to his fangs, and gently stroking them.
"I.... okay. You win." he said.
"I can't... argue that." he admitted.
He then leaned in closer, and she brought her wrist close towards him. He opened his mouth, allowing her to see the fangs in his maw, before gently piercing down into her wrist.

"Oh... I guess since you're only half, means you need less." she commented a few seconds later before looking toward the bite mark.

"I do need less due to being a Dhampir, but I was holding back, and I only took the minimal that I need." he told her. "Yes, we're in a hospital and such, but I don't need your father hearing that I went too far and drained you to being weak." he admitted.
"And yes, vampires will always discharge an anti-coagulant, but Dhampirs can choose not to." he went on, before looking around.

With that, he quickly opened a small portal to a closet with a box in it. He then started sifting about, looking for something, before pulling out a magnifying glass and quickly closing the portal.

"It's blessed to protect me from anything I consider a threat, but there is a minimum to how low I can take it, apparently. I had just forgotten about it." She admitted.
