Forums General Chit-Chat Song Playlist Help!

Donator Posted 6 years ago ( 2018/07/24 03:42:16 )
I love to play music at my job! I have 2 playlists currently.
1. to pump you up!
2. to calm you down.

My Pump you up playlist has to contain songs that are family friendly- No bad words, no bad situations, and I try not to put any relationship driven songs
So far, I have

Everything is AWESOME!!!
Pocketful of Sunshine
Hall of Fame
Happy

My Calm Down/Quiet Work playlist has instrumental soundtracks- I try to keep words to a minimum.
So far, I have

Video game music by the london philharmonic orchestra
Lord of the Rings
Downton Abbey
A few Danny Elfman and a few Hans Zimmer

Give me your favorite soundtracks and your favorite clean, upbeat music!

Also, I hate kidsbop with a passion. XD

It doesn't have to be current, it can be from any time.

Pump up playlist:

Rebelution - 'Sky is the Limit' and 'Bright Side Of Life'
Connell Cruise - Into The Wild
Matt and Kim - Daylight
Tuxedo - Do It
2NE1 - 'I LOVE YOU'
NONA REEVES - Mr. Melody Maker
MONKEY MAJIK - Delicious
Ben Rector - 30,000 Feet
Psychostick - #1 Radio Single
Gorillaz - 19-2000 (Soulchild Remix)

For the quiet/calm playlist:

Anything by Ronald Jenkees. He's a god on the keyboard I tell you. 11/10.
Try to find anything by Tatsuya Maruyama. In particular his song 'braveless.'
Estas Tonne - The Song of the Golden Dragon.
Assemblage 23 - Lullaby (They are a great group so I'd like to recommend everything by them, but the lyrical content is almost all depressing so that might not be your cup of tea. Lullaby is the only song I'd call 'uplifting' by them.)
Rammstein - Ohne Dich

If you like instrumental metal type stuff, I highly recommend ANGEL VIVALDI and their songs 'A Mercurian Summer' and 'A Martian Winter'
That could go into either playlist you want really. It's instrumental, but it would definitely pump me up. haha

Another idea for the Calm Down playlist is the sountrack of the Sims. All of them are on spotify.
